Adelaar has a crew of eight excellent seamen, who come from all parts of Indonesia. All crew members speak English, a bit of German, and are experienced in dealing with our European and American charter guests. Adelaar's crew are constantly trying to improve the quality of our charters to make each trip "the experience of a lifetime" for our guests.

  The graphic to the right is our deck plan (under renovation at the moment). We have a large master suite with a queen size bed and separate couch that could also be converted to a twin bed. The master also has ample closet space, a desk and a large flat screen TV with audio and video streaming. Two of our guest staterooms have double bed, with an optional single bed in the event the cabins are shared by two single guests. Our fourth guest stateroom has a double bed . All guest rooms have flat screen TV with audio and video streaming.

The Adelaar is a Dutch Schooner, measuring 127 feet in length, with a beam of 18 feet and 8 feet of draft. A 380 HP Mercedes Marine Diesel engine and 3 generators from 30 to 35 kW. Our 2 Bauer Compressors are mounted below deck in the engine room.

  The reverse osmosis de-salinator converts up to 2,400 gallons of seawater into fresh water each day. Our two dinghies with 40 HP outboard engines are waiting to safely drop and pick up our guests in Komodo's best dive sites. We have a full compliment of navigation and safety equipment, including an ICOM HF transceiver, Satellite telephone and fax, and ICOM VHF radios to ensure your safety at sea at all times.
